'Tis the gift to be simple, 'tis the gift to be free

'Tis the gift to come down where we ought to be.'

I reckon, Jeannie, you're just where you ought to be....appreciative and grateful and humble.

It’s not about the food. It’s about the people. It’s always about the people.

I’m glad you’re one of my people, Jeannie.

Thanks for writing and sharing this piece, Jeannie...

I really enjoyed it!

Yes, simple is good - actually it can be more than enough and more than we hoped for.

This touched my heart deeply. I have a friend going through very sad times and she posted today on instagram that she feels she's feeling inadequate as a teacher, daughter, friend. This is a reminder to me to tell her that she is enough...and it's a time for her to draw strength from people who care for her. Thank you Jeannie.

I loved this Jeannie. I often wonder the same about myself… am I boring? Am I enough? I really enjoy your writing, and you!
