Hi Jeannie. I was hoping that you would write about this. I’m so sorry for your significant losses, and sorry that you didn’t make to P.E.I. in time to say goodbye to your Aunt. I hope that you found writing about it a bit therapeutic. As usual your writing is enjoyable to read and very relatable. Thinking of you. Hoping to walk again soon.
Wow, Jeannie that is a lot. It sounds like they were both such beautiful and significant people. Your tributes are a beautiful reminder of the fragility of life and to try to soak in each moment. Thank you for sharing. Thinking of you in the disorientation of the last few months and praying for peace and comfort.
I'm so sorry for these huge losses in your life, and that you've also had to deal with ongoing illness as you navigate them. May the gifts they've given you provide comfort you as you walk the road of grief.
Oh, Jeannie....We have entered a season of loss in so many ways. Thank you for posting 'A summer of hard things.' I think it is true what they say about a sorrow shared.
You wrote beautifully of your loss. Back in 2006 I lost my oldest sister and my favorite aunt in the same night. The double hit is disorienting, and you’re feeling it raw and fresh. I’m grateful for the friends and family you have been able to share this grief with.
Thank you for sharing your time of grief and sorrow. So lovely to read about two of your favourite people. ❤️🙏❤️
Thank you, Suzanne.

Oh, Jeannie, beautiful tribute. Life is so hard. I am glad we have these relationships to honor—even though the loss is excruciating.
Very well put, Lindsay. ❤️
